The return of the Melville House Librarian Preview
by Michael Seidlinger

(from left to right) Timothy Faust, Sady Doyle, and Jesse McCarthy
On June 21st, Melville House will relaunch a highly popular piece of programming, the Librarian Preview. Beginning at 2:30PM at our offices in the heart of DUMBO, Brooklyn, we invite librarians from the tri-state area for some coffee, snacks, free books, and… oh yeah, some wine.
Presentations will be given by Melville House publishers Dennis Johnson and Valerie Merians, and the editorial team. We will be joined by our author Timothy Faust, who will introduce Health Justice Now: Single Payer and What Comes Next (August 2019), Sady Doyle, author of the bestselling Trainwreck, discussing her latest, Dead Blondes and Bad Mothers: Monstrosity, Patriarchy, and the Fear of Female Power, and Jesse McCarthy, author of the debut novel destined to be the talk of Fall 2019, The Fugitivities (November 2019).
Enjoy free books, food, and maybe (just maybe) some free swag (ahem, shirts; cough, totes). If interested in attending, RSVP to [email protected] with name and affiliation.
Michael Seidlinger is the Library and Academic Marketing Manager at Melville House.
