Our Barker-in-Chief gives some doggone great Melville House book reviews

by

Well, hello there. You might’ve noticed something new happening on our Instagram. Here at Melville House HQ, there’s a new furry member on our crew and she’s got a lot to say about barks, err, books.

Meet Pepper, a three year old spunky Japanese Chin rescue mix. I adopted Pepper from the non-profit rescue, Stray from the Heart in 2015, and she’s been my sidekick ever since. Activities we enjoy doing together include: long walks in the park, attempting to chase all of the squirrels, and reading good books. That being said, my spunky sidekick has a lot to say about books and she’ll be barking her thoughts on our Instagram for a new weekly series: Pepper’s Picks.

Enjoy and maybe for your next read, pick out one of Pepper’s favorites.

You said you were taking me to the lake. This isn’t what I had in mind.
