IndieBound tells us how to keep support indies during the outbreak
by Athena Bryan
Times are tough—not just tough, but terribly uncertain.
But some things remain unchanged, and one of them is that we are never going to stop championing independent bookstores.
So with that said, IndieBound has tweeted a useful thread about what you can do to support your favorites, and I’m here to pass it on today:
So, how can you help?
1⃣ If you haven't already, locate your independent bookstore! We have a handy search tool here: https://t.co/kLCibsEU93

4⃣ Preorders. Do you have your eye on a book that's coming out in the future? Place that order now!
Don't have a title in mind? Booksellers have the best recommendations. Ask your bookseller which books they're excited about, and treat future you to your next great read.

6⃣ Buy audiobooks! @librofm allows you to pick an indie bookstore to support through your #audiobook purchases. 🎧https://t.co/EeITzdEQjk

9⃣ If you're able, donate to @BincFoundation. This organization supports booksellers by providing relief for unforeseen emergency financial needs.
