All proceeds from the book will go to charity: Dr. Kelly will donate his royalties to medical charities assisting healthcare workers with the global response to coronavirus; Melville House will donate all of its profits to BINC, the Book Industry Charitable Foundation, to support independent booksellers struggling under the impact of the pandemic.
Described as a psychological toolkit, the eighty-eight page book is broken down into five simple sections, giving clear advice and techniques for managing emotional and psychological stress and averting panic, as well as ways to deal with the unique social demands of this unprecedented situation.

Dr. Brendan Kelly is Professor of Psychiatry at Trinity College Dublin and Consultant Psychiatrist at Tallaght Hospital, Dublin. In addition to his medical degree (MB BCh BAO) he holds masters degrees in healthcare management (MA) and Buddhist studies (MA); and doctorates in medicine (MD), history (PhD), governance (DGov), and law (PhD). He also has a masters degree (MSc) in epidemiology—the study of the distribution and determinants of disease.
