In case you missed it, earlier this week Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called to ban all Muslims from entering the United States. The proposal is not only totally illegal, but it has also earned Mr. Trump comparisons to one of the great villains of contemporary literature: Harry Potter’s Lord Voldemort.

The BBC reported that the announcement provoked a number of tweets comparing Trump to the Dark Lord:

Early yesterday morning, author J. K. Rowling replied with a tweet of her own:

Rowling’s comment was met with glee across twitter and spawned, inevitably, the hashtag #Voldetrump.
