Winnie the Pooh house for sale

by

If you’ve been wondering what to do with that $3.2m burning a hole in your pocket, you might consider investing in a piece of children’s literary history. A.A. Milne‘s former home is for sale — the very one in which his son Christopher Robin Milne grew up, inspiring Christopher Robin and his friends Winnie the Pooh et al. The 9.5-acre grounds that Cotchford Farm stands on was also the imaginative backdrop to the hundred-acre wood. You might be outbid by aging rockers, though: this was also the house at which Brian Jones of the Strolling Bones joined the 27 club.

Winnie the Pooh’s real-life hangout:

Ellie Robins is an editor at Melville House. Previously, she was managing editor of Hesperus Press.

I would like to buy this house, except I don’t have the money and I live in the USA.

  2. There is lot of space available outside the house.Even the house is well built.
