Andrey Kurkov book launch and Penguin Party at R.J. Julia!!!
Acclaimed Ukrainian author Andrey Kurkov will be at R.J. Julia Booksellers for the book launch party and signing for The Case of the General’s Thumb. You can order tickets for the event or preorder a copy—HERE—if you plan on attending. Of course, copies will be available at the event as well.
Let us not fail to mention that this event will also be to celebrate R.J. Julia’s stunning victory in the Adopt-a-Penguin campaign. So there will be some penguin related hijinks to be had there as well.
ANDREY KURKOV borrowed money from friends to self-publish his first books, which he sold himself on the sidewalks of Kiev. He has gone on to become one of the most popular and critically acclaimed writers in Ukrainian history, and his books have been translated into 25 languages.
